3 wheel drive

Take my word for it, if you had a locker or an LS in the front with CAD disconnected in 4WD that mother will pull HARD when you gas it. Even with the CAD connected, a locker is going to be squirrely at highway speeds.

Guys I used to wheel with would run Lincoln Lockers (welded up side gears and pinions) in their rigs. Even running with only one lockout engaged the rig had some healthy torque steer. As emjay mentioned any kind of locker/LSD is going to have an undesirable personality that you would have to live with.

ARB air locker or the Eaton E-Locker would be the way to go being we don't have a practical way of having lockouts. Other benifits are that you can run the open diff on the snowy/rainy days without fear of handling problems and in-cab control of the diff for when it's needed.

My opinion,

Wayne
