Archived limp mode and a p0581 code

Truck went to limp mode 1/2 power.

Made it home and got a p0581 code.

I knew the clock spring was bad because the horn and cruse died a few weeks ago.

No other trouble or smoking.

Clock spring will be fixed in a few hours.

Will a bad clock spring cause limp mode?

Or do I have other issues?

P0581 Low Voltage Detected At The Speed Control Switch

That looks to be the source of the code. Whether it will put it in limp mode is the question. About all you can do is fix the problem and clear th ecode to see what happens.

New clock spring in.
Truck runs normal.
Horn and cruse ok now.
Now a P2149 code.

Quick drive around town and all codes are clear now.
I assume the shorted clock spring messed with the bank 2 injector circuit and caused the limp mode and p2149?
Hope this helps someone with a similar problem.
