48RE Line pressure goes crazy

2016 3500 68rfe replacement pan or filter kit isn't correct

No hands on experience with this one but here is what I found. I did not see a difference between the VIN 6 and VIN 7 sheets or location.

SYMPTOM
P0121-ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION SENSOR VOLTS DO NOT AGREE W/IDLE VALID SIGNAL

WHEN MONITORED
During idle which is less than 15% of full throttle range for approximately 1.0 second or during not at idle and vehicle speed is greater than 10 MPH for approximately 1.0 second.

SET CONDITION
IVS indicates idle while APPS signal voltage indicates not a idle condition or WS indicates not at idle while APPS signal voltage indicates idle condition.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- APPS
- APPS wire harness circuit open
- APPS wire harness short to voltage (IVS # 2)
- APPS wire harness short to voltage w/engine ON
- APPS wire harness short to voltage with key ON
- ECM

Looking for a repair shop that has an APPS Throttle Position Sensor in Des Moines. Any TDR members have a recommendation?
 
Try a reset first.
Switch on ignition, don't start engine, push the acc Pedal three times slowly al the way down and release it at the same pace. Then switch off Ignition.
If you have a 2001, get the APS from AutoZone - brand is WELLS. This one is the only one that works without a potentiometer - and Made in the USA - not China crap. I've one for the last three years and it works perfect. But it is expensive yes.
Exchange it is an easy side of the road fix, it comes with instructions. Only basic hand tools and a multimeter are needed for install.
