Anybody know where I can find an old tombstone AC/DC stick welder? I have been looking for awhile and have found nothing locally. Ebay usually is for local pickup only. I appresciate any help offered. There has to be a source as there are tons of them that were sold years ago.

Thanks

AKAMAC, those new ones have a 20% duty cycle which is fine for me really. What I'm looking for is on of the old models as they are generaly cheaper but are built like tanks and weigh as much. I have spent alot of time on craigslist looking for one as well. I have only seen one that sold really quick for $30. That price was unreal. I have used the old ac/dc type in school and really like the way they weld. The new ones are just as good or better I'm sure but the cost of the dc model is just not worth it for what amounts to a light duty welder.

i have a new one id cut lose for $190 i used five sticks and bought a new miller diesel for work so i dont need it anymore
p. m me 4 photos if needed

Got one, well sortof.

Well after reading through the lincoln catalog I found that the old tombstone has been resized into a box type shape. It's the idealarc 250 and sells for about a grand new. I found a great deal on a Lincoln MIG 180C at a shop few miles north of here. Very good price so I got it. If I find the stick welder that I'm looking for fairly close to here at a reasonable price I'll get it. Until then at least I can use the MIG. . 045 flux core with shielding gas (dual shield) makes for some nice smooth welds. Thanks to everyone for the help.
