I'm due for a track bar fix. Is the Lindstadt a complete track bar or just a repair kit for the ball joint like the Luke's Link? I tried a search using "Lindstadt" but only got 3 hits. I know there has been much more than that. I know the Luke's Link is about $70. How much for the Lindstadt? Is one better than the other?

You can go either way, if you want a complete bar they will ship you a complete one, or if you have access to a grinder and a welder they can just ship you the kit to convert your old one. I had a completely new one put on by them back in March and have been very happy with it. Truck Drives ten times better. Here is the link for their website. Call them up with any questions they took alot of time to answer for me and get me ready and it is great when a company invests the time to make sure you are happy with their product.

I bought a Linstadt kit a few years ago. I've tightened it up twice in 3 or so years , 1/4 turn at a time. I like it.

I BOUGHT ONE. REMEMBER... ... ... . DO NOT TEAR UP YOUR BOOT. THEY DO NOT INCLUDE ONE. I HAD THEM SEND ME ONE. THE DEALER CANNOT GET YOU ONE !!

After installing both, I recommend the Linstadt replacement on the track bar. Buy the whole bar, it was a little tricky getting it lined up just right and getting it "grease tight". The only watchout with either of these is if you have a Mag-Hytec front diff cover. It will hit unless you lift the front. The Linstadt is 3/4" longer (on the bottom) than stock, I think that the Luke's is about the same.
