Those light bars are on about 10% of the tejano cars here in the Phoenix area. Can't be anything illegal about it here.

I agree, if lots of RED shows up when you touch the brake, it can't be deemed illegal- as long as it is only viewable from the rear of the truck.

Will that fit below the hole for the spare tire, or does it go over it? I've been pondering getting one but didn't want to cover that up. Oh yeah, is that the 60" bar?

Thanks,

Matt

LED LIGHT BAR

T he E-Bay price is the same no matter witch one you order

as for covering up the spair tire lift hole I don't know.

I looked on my truck and I think It would cover up that hole.

I don't know for sure as I dont have one yet.

Our trucks would take the 60" one

I have the 60" and it does not cover the spare tire hole. I think mine is mounted over the hole. The light bar is only about 1/2"-3/4" tall--very compact.

edit--I have a topper that replaces the tailgate so I think that I may have more room over the spare tire access hole than those with tailgates.

Yes it covers the hole for the spare wheel. I used Dual Lock made by 3M instead of the double sided stuff that came with it. Dual Lock is kinda like velcro but made for semi permanent application. I did see on one website where they had a different part number for one to fit the dodge and it had its own kind of attachment to mount it so it could be easily removed.

Doesn't cover "spare tire hole"

I have the Line of Fire on my 04. 5 and I can lower my spare without problem. I had to ther other day... .

I tried to center the light but may have it a bit high. At any rate, it is clearly visible from the rear when I stand behind the truck (I am 6' 5") about 20 feet.

Here's mine where it's hidden up under the tailgate lip. On a white truck it makes the space under there glow and it reflects on the bumper. Also eliminates the spare problem.
