Very nice. I have a silver truck with Denver Offroad aluminum bumper up front and aluminum flatbed with folding sides and toolboxes on rear. Planning to use grey for bumper, rockers and toolboxes and flatbed. May even do chrome grill. Maybe. Wondering why a guy has to stipple the finish. Couldn't it be left smooth where it would look better. Or is it really not an even finish and needs stippling? George

When I went in I wanted the rockers sprayed smooth without any texture.

They said they could do it but I wouldn't like it because it would be very shiny. But they did spray it with less texture than the bed.

i did mine at 6k miles, but i did up to the crown vice into the valley. black on anything lighter will look great. my truck is silver. should be a pic in readers rigs.

:-laf That's not Alpha's truck. ;)

GS is right, not my truck, as far as I know his truck is doing aight with it, but the guys that did it did a crappy job, was over an INCH thick the first time, the ground it down and re sprayed it, and its still not perfect, so he is probably going to have it re-done eventually, but its holding up very well as far as I know. i saw it in person and it looked good. My truck is Drk Green with Dupicolor spray on liner on the rockers, its ok, but not nearly as strong as the professional stuff...

I'm a LINE-X dealer. Looks good! You can prevent fading by:

1. Occasionally apply Just Once (www.justonce.com) on the liner.

2. Have the dealer apply Dupont Nason (urethane based automotive paint). One time application; glossy, black, no fading.

3. Have the dealer apply LINE-X Xtra. (More durable and more expensive than Nason. Either Nason or Xtra will be fine for rockers. ) One time application; glossy, black, no fading.

Most (but not all) dealers can also color match or you can choose any color you want! And NO fading (if the dealer uses Nason or Xtra).
