All,

I just got off the phone with our local Line-X installer and he quoted me $450 for the short bed over the rails, and $225 for the rocker panels.

Does this sound like a good deal?

Thanks for helping me make good desicions!

I going on a field trip right now. Going down to his shop to see his work. He is giving me a little discount on the total because I am getting 2 truck done at the same time.

Thanks for the replies and letting me know what you guys paid.

I paid $455 (out the door) for my over-the-rail long bed application last June.

I stopped my over-the-rail line so that it would match up with a camper-shell (or "topper" as some folks call them).

As a bonus, the place scratched both dually fenders for me. They did take care of the repair bill and were very cool about rectifiying the situation though.

I paid $425 for over the rails line x from Line-x of Brandon, FL. I will say they didn't do that great of a job. My truck was recently hit (while parked, grrr) and had to be resprayed. The shop here in OH did a much much better job. They charged 450 - which the insurance company picked up.

I also had my RDS tool/tank combo box line-xed as well and I couldn't be happier with how it came out. Now I won't have to worry about chipping the weak powdercoat they come with (mine was black powdercoated), and it matches the bed nicely. It looks so much better than I thought it would. One of these days I'll update my reader's rigs with pics of it. I highly recommend that you guys with toolboxes have them sprayed to match!

Just got back from the shop. The guy does great work. He had just finished a truck as we were rolling in. and he sprayed a waxed metal panel in front of us, peeled it off and handed it to us for a sample. He does really meticulious work. He also said that Line-X corporate had sent several customers that had problems (from other shops) to his for the warranty repair work and had pictures to show of it. So it seems that he is well trusted by the corporate office as well.

I'm now getting more and more excited for the trucks to come in. We are receiving accessories for them every day. Just received Spooledup's fuel tank vent kit today in the mail. WOW - he ships fast.

Ive been thinking on having the rockers panels done. Where do they mask off the line? and how about between the bed and cab. Thank in advance for the info

which shop did you get your truck done at? I know where the one in Glen Burnie is, but not sure about the one on the north side of the beltway.

bombero - I am having him mask the line off in the body line just above the door bumper guards.

RBoyd - haven't actually got the trucks done yet, still waiting on delivery of trucks but here is the info you wanted. Line-X of Baltimore and here is the map 52 Earls Road

I had my swb over the rails done in Grants Pass Oregon for $400. It was their 2nd year aniversery special

Depends, I only paid $250 for line-x on my dually flatbed. But then again, it would cost a little to install the flatbed. But then again, you would have a way more useful rig. ;)
