Just ordered all transmission cooler lines for the '97. Had my friendly Dodge parts guy send me copies of his reference material, double checked it against the PDF on here for the '97 trucks and it is a dead on match, part numbers and illustrations both.

Very accurate, thanks again for the links. It is trustworthy material from what I can tell.

Mike. :)

When I click on one your posted web - sights a single page opens showing various years but when you click on one of them nothing happens??

Some of the files are very large and it takes a bit of time to download so you can view them. I tested several of them and they worked for me. Which year and sub-group were you having issues with?

Same problem for me. None of them worked. I can get to the sub-links manually, though. For example, starting with the 2002-2005 link, to get to 2003 the link is http://www.gmb.be/CJD_parts/CD4/Catalogs/02-05/Index03.pdf . To get to 2003 Ram the link is http://www.gmb.be/CJD_parts/CD4/Catalogs/02-05/03dr.PDF

Maybe it doesn't work right on Macs or Safari? If it is a problem only for Macs/Safari, what I did is opened the Index PDF in Preview, clicked on a link in the document in Preview (which brings up an error message), copied the last bit of the link from the error message, then edited the URL in Safari. And then repeated this for the next level until I got to the actual document I was looking for.

Nice information, though. It was well worth the little bit of extra work to get to it.

Thanks for the links, works pretty good.

I do want to caution '06 Mega Cab owners that you will have to go to the '07 section to find correct specific cab and chassis stuff.

Code 81 is for the Mega.

Info is all there, you just have to bounce between the '06 and '07 models to get it.

The regular and quad cabs are fine.

Thanks again!!!

Mike. :)

I'm trying to find headliner parts (the round retaining clips specifically) for an '07 Mega. All the headliners I see don't appear to be for Megas as they don't have the clips. Anyone know where they are burried?

You are referring to the two round headed retainers in the middle??? I have purchased these before when I installed the DVD player. I will try to locate the number today. If I can't find it I know that I have a spare on at home in the parts bag. I bought three in case I screwed one of them up.

Give me a little time and I can fix you up.

We are preparing for inventory tomorrow night so things are a mite frantic for me right now.

Mike.

My '07 doesn't have any just behind the sunroof. It does have 3 round retainers directly above the back seat. I don't have a DVD player and the only thing that holds the liner up behind the sunroof is some velcro which isn't working well. My thought was to put 2 of the round retainers just like the existing ones above the rear seat directly behind the sunroof.

Thanks for taking to time to look up the part numbers.

No problem. I do remember them being fairly long. Will you have clearance for the sunroof to travel????

The part number of the fastener required for my non-sunroof Mega is in post #4 of this thread. Then go to post #24, fourth picture down. You can see how the fastener is made, I had simply drilled the head off at that point. Right in the top center of the picture.

In post 24, 3rd pic, is the fastener not pushed in all the way? I'm assuming that's the case is i wouldn't think the headliner would use any sort of standoff fastener. That is a very nice post though and should come in handy as i have to drop the headliner anyway. I made the mistake of leaving the sunroof open when i got mulch and now my rear drains are plugged with the fine mulch dust :(

The sunroof version has a C channel of sorts just behind the sunroof and as long as the connector is less than the depth of it I should be ok. From the pics it looks like it will be close but I can always trim it a bit.

No, that is in the proper position. It has two little stands if you look close that keep it from going in any further. There is a space between the headliner and roof where the bulges are. In the non-sunroof version there are only two of those push in retainers, the one in post #24 and another one further back. Both are the same part number.

I drilled the heads off before attempting to lower the headliner as I did not know what I would be dealing with and also did not want to risk damage by either trying to cut the head off with side-cutters or tearing the liner by trying to pry them out.

Links NOT working for me. Tried it on 3 different computers with different OS's. Firefox, ie, win 8.1 , vista, and win 7.
It's a NO GO for me.
