Didn't Linstad have an adjustable, weldable replacement end for our track bar? Anyone have any hands on with this? I can't seem to find them any more, are they out of business?

I think they're still around. Google?

I installed one about 5 years and 100k ago. All's good so far. I've adjusted it 4 or 5 times. Grease it when I change oil.

Be sure and install a poly bushing in the otherend of the track bar when installing the repair kit. I belive I paid $10 or so for a bushing.

Good luck, RJR

I'm sure they're still there. I can't find a SD phone book to look them up. I'm sure it's been posted before. I think I've even posted it before. Search it here or call information for Belle Forche, SD. I think it's a great fix. Did my '98 about 50K ago and have adjusted it twice I believe.

Same experience here. The Lindstad bar has worked fine.

I also installed a poly bushing on the other end, and I've been disappointed. I'm on the third one. The hole seems to egg-shape pretty fast. Maybe it's just me . . .
