Lint FREE cloth!!!

What does everyone use? For next fuel filter change I was hoping to find something other than the 9. 00 Chamois cloth I had to use yesterday when I found debris in the filter canister that I needed to wipe out. . Thanks!

Another option might be to drop a clean vacuum cleaner hose in there and suck out the contaminants.

I just use and old T shirt rag. I just soak the stuff on the bottom in the middle and wipe toward the outside. The outside gets filtered.

same here. . i look down inside and if ok by my standards, new one goes in

Sam's Club or Costco sells micro-fiber cloths (blue or yellow) very inexpensively. I use them for anything that needs to be lint free. They are also good when waxing the cars, cleaning the windows, etc.



Girot's Garage sells micro-fiber cloths for about 5 times the cost of Sams...

Go figure, went to the super wal mart and saw lint free cloth in a huge package for 5 bucks...

I open the water drain valve with the truck running, that seems to blow everything out before I pop the top on the housing.
