Anyone tried liquid tire balance? I have seen its about 50/50 like/dislike for different types of balance beads. The liquid claims to keep the tire temps 16 degrees lower which reduces tire wear. I can see it keeping the temp down for a while but eventually the liquid will be as hot as the tire. The beads tend to get stuck in imperfections where the liquid would not.
Anyone tried them? I think the best thing is to stay with the tradition lead weights and some road force balancing and maybe add a small amount of the liquid to help finish off any imperfections.

Most tire shops frown on liquids/flat fixers in a tire. Never heard anything on their reaction to the beads, wonder how they handle those.

I know they HATE flat fixers, and probably wont enjoy any liquid i'm sure. This stuff is not sticky and thick though so though they may be mad, they probably wont beat you up :D. Besides, I'm more interested in what makes my ride smooth so I can deal with a slightly irritated tire shop if it comes to it.

Not many responses so I went ahead and bit the bullet....guess I will know soon enough

Liquid Tire Balance will balance tires for the life of the tire. Special additives prevent rust. The liquid will not clog valve stems. A tire that contains liquid tire balance will be completely lubricated and conditioned. Compatible with TPMS .

What is the freeze point?

If you adjust tire pressure up or down often I don’t see how it won’t get into the valve stems. Even beads get lodged in there on occasion.

I have counteract balance beads in 2 sets of my tires. I won’t ever pay for lead weights again. The balance beads are night and day better than weights on my mud and 14 ply tires. On HT tires I’m not sure the benefit is there, but I’ll still run balance beads over lead weights.

Seems as though the beads are the only thing that works in the big off-road tires. I use beads exclusively in these tires. Other than that road force balance if having done, should be a guarantee on that.

Does not have a freeze point listed, bottle reads: "WILL NOT FREEZE"
