I agree with the idea of eliminating all steel, but I'm sort of a big fan of iron lately. At least it doesn't corrode catastrophically like steel does.



Hohn you, like me, must have a lot of hard-earned experience fighting rust. I hate rust [except maybe on iron].

I always thought that they use the term "Iron Age" to describe stuff that happened a long time ago.

So now we have video IPods, but we still have to use ferrous metal for everything? Something's not right.

I'm much simpler - a truck with a metric butt-ton of power, but still gets 50 MPG or better at 70mph, and is not a hybrid and is inexpensive to work on IF it ever broke.

Well rbattelle said it very well. For an engine I would have a nice big CAT for power. SORRY fellas. ( Mine still isn't running the way yours do!!!)
