Has anyone figured out how to get a litter bag to stay on the molded plastic hook on the passengers side? Its right up there with the door seals as a design job done well.

Actually I think the HOOK was an after thought, if you take out the screw that holds the hook in you can snap the whole dash out out of the truck !

What makes you so sure it's not a cap hook? :D

I use plastic grocery store bags for litter, and have found that you have to get some trash weight in the bag before it stays put. You might drop a couple of small rock in it to prime it and weigh it down.

In all seriousness though, I recommend keeping a litter bag in the truck at all times. I let my old truck get trashed out on a regular basis. It didn't have a hook for a bag. And in the wise words of Steve Martin's grandmother: "Always keep a litter bag in your car. It doesn't take up much room, and when it gets full you can just toss it out the window. "

Whats it's really for!

When I bought my truck I told the wife it's to hang your purse. Makes the Mrs. feel like the truck is for her too.

I take one of the black paper binder thingies and just clip it to the hook w/ the trash bag. Holds it even if there's no weight or the windows open.

If my wife tried to hang her purse on that hook, I'm afraid the dash would fall off.

speaking about hooks. Michael did you get those tow hooks put on & tried out yet. :D

In Washington (state) you can get a ticket for not having a litter bag! How's that for big brother.....

Jim

I hope you are kidding. What if I remove the ash tray and install a brake controller there?

The dealer said if the customer is a woman, it's a purse hook, if a man it's a litter bag or cap hook. I put a rubberband on mine to keep the litter bag from falling off.

I like the pantie idea :D

Is JCleary joking? I thought it was a panty hook? (Just Kidding!!!) That's what I use it for... ... ... ... ... ... . Not sure what my bride thinks of that though.....
