Living in a 23 foot

Just got a new job in Wyoming and will be living in a new-to-me '87,23' Prowler. What must I not forget to bring??

Lived in a 19' Prowler for a while, temp job transfer. After a couple years I gave up on the temporary and bought a house.

MRE's for when you can't get to store for food. Microwave, small. Note book computer, no room for desk top. Leave the upper bunk mattresses at home, you will need the storage. The location of a hardware store for repair parts. Tool box to make the repirs. Don't forget the hacksaw for plumbing. A fan for when the A/C dies.

I you are there when it gets cold. A couple gallons of drinking water for when the hose freezes. A 1500 watt electric heater to save propane. A good sleeping bag for when you run out of propane and you loose ac power.

I can go for days without food. But one day without toilet paper and I turn into an animal!!

travel trailer

I bought a 30 foot travel when I got a divorce a few years ago. I saved a lot of money that way. And when you are ready to do some thing else just sell it and recoup your money.

Things I would suggest. Hand tools and voltmeter, jumpes, pipe wrench and plumbing supplies. Two large lp tanks.

Both ac and ice box quit on me and I fixed both them.

I used heat trace on the water lines and ended the water freezing problem. I ran the water line( half inch copper in the 4 inch cvc that is insulated and heat traced and bured in up to the trailer. The riser that came out of the ground is made to made to same way with a 4 inch 90 and it lands over the conection to the trailer.

I would use the chemical to keep the holding tanks in good shape. I would reccomend a good screen over the ac units to keep the hail off the fins for getting beat up.

Get some blocks to firm up the trailer frame or stands. Maby even a few tie downs for high wind.

I would do it again before I payed rent. You have to rent a place to stay but mine was only 45 a month. If you work for a company the pays per diem them You can make some money that way.

If the place that you are staying uses furnishes elecricity use everthing that runs elecric including grills and water heater.

I used dish work for the Tv. Problem the most care free time I ever had. Being single and few bills
