LMC Truck Replacement Sun Visor

I bought a pair of replacement sun visors for my 1996 from LMC Truck. They're a perfect fabric and color match. But the shaft and mount didn't come with it. The original shaft is to be re-used. So I took the shaft out of old visor and cleaned it up.

The shaft will go into the visor about 3/8 inch, and it stops. It's obvious that the shaft should go in there, somehow.

Has anyone used these before? If you did, how did you get the shaft to go in?

Well, all I needed to do was bevel the flat end of the shaft. Then with some effort and twisting, the shaft went into the new visor. It's a tight, interference fit.

Hey Matt, thanks for the tip on install. I looked at them and the pass side appears to have a cover on the mirror, is this the case or just how they're pictured?
