before i do any more mods the next thing i am gonna buy/build is a transmission... . so do u think i should buy a full billet from one of the big guys (ats, sun coast, ect) or do i have a local shop build me one. Big guy about $6k local shop $3600 an will offer 36 month warranty. soon as i decide which way im gonna go ima order turbo/turbos an injectors an a fuel system.

i guess it all depends on how much you trust this local shop. that is a tough decision to make. i would buy one from HTS and know that it was built correctly and then not have to worry about it.

I just spoke with Dust at HTS on Tuesday... . I am having him build my trans. He has great reputation, price is right in the middle and he is a pleasure to talk to. He just makes me feel comfortable and I got a good vibe from him. Try giving him a call.

do NOT buy one from Phoenix hard parts!! Warrantees are useless if your truck is on a lift in the shop for six months broken !

Research it thoroughly and go with an authorized installer within a reasonable driving distance if any issues come up. $4. 00/gal. dictates driving anywhere anymore!
