BD brake killing engine?

I just recieved the painless wiring kit from Geno's Garage today. Where are most of you locating the module?? I do have the weatherproof version, so I could mount it somwhere under the hood, but would prefer to locate it somwhere under the dash. Are there any install tips or tricks?? Couldn't find much doing a search?? THANKS for your input!!

PW install

Put mine on firewall under hood, drivers side. There is a spot that looks like it was made for it. To right of brake assembly facing truck. Up near top of firewall. Easy to get to battery for power.

C/B mounted to fender. . Coiled up unused circuits and capped them off until needed.

Sorri I omitted that, all that crap they tell you will happen after age 65,lot of it does. (G).

I went inside through the grommet and used a fuse tap on the

Cigar Lighter fuse(#15 and 20A).

Pretty easy.

If you mount it under the hood (which I did and recommend), there's a "key-on" wire close by without having to run back inside. I used the green one in the big loom right above the brake unit. It's visible over the valve cover where there's a big black plug that has a white lever that keeps it plugged together. You can trace the light green wire back and it's only a few inches from the firewall mounting location. There's another "key-on" wire in the fuse box on the left fender. If you need that one, let me know and I'll run it down for you.

Be sure to remove all the fuses from the unused circuits until you need them. That way you don't have to worry about the unused wires shorting out.
