How do you "turn up the pump"

I have looked at a number of magazines, and web pages that sell gauges (Pyrometer, Boost, Extra temp gauge, Tach, properly calibrated ail pressure etc)

And I have looked at where to put them. My 1993 seems to not have a place to conveniently place them.

Where'd you put yours, and are you happy with how it turned out? :p

Also, I can't find any that go on the left side of the windshield, on the post. At least with a nice fit. I was even thinking of installing a small console up in the roof, middle, to house some gauges.

Thanks for your input, :)

Nate

I used a 3-gauge pod from US Gear. I have a couple pics in my Reader's Rigs Gallery (click on the link under my username). :)

AutoMeter makes a single and double pod to go on the pillar, but I like them better on the dash - it's all a matter of personal preference. :)

IF you check out my gallery you can see what I finally decided on, it is a dash pod for a second gen truck, but with a little carving it fits nicely. I went with Isspro EV gauges.

I have the ISSPRO EV series gauges on the pillar, AUTOMETER pod, from DIS www.dieselpage.com SOme guys dont like the way they point up a little, but I'm 6ft, and they arent in the way, yet easy to read, esp at night. Took some getting used to (about 1wk) from the dash mount, but I wouldnt g back on a 1st Gen. 2nd Gen pillar is wide enough w/o gauges, but I wont go there. Not sure if I have any pics in my RR or not. I do have a pic or two I can email. Not a god shot of the gauges, but has a good background contrast so one can see the outline of where the pod goes.

Nate, a two gauge pod and or one gauge pod for the a-pillar is available for our trucks. If you want three gauges on the a-pillar you can just stack them, single gauge pod on top of the dual pod. Then a three to five gauge pod is available for the dash. Check out the TDR vendors for prices and availability. I think you can view RDusch's RR album for the single on top of dual pod. Geno sells both for our trucks. I have the dual pod on a-pillar.
