Where is the factory alarm module located in a 2001. 5? Anyone have a schematic for it? I need to do some mods so my alarm will work with my cool down timer.

Alarm (VTSS)

The Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS) includes the following major components...

Central Timer Module (CTM)

located under the driver side end of the instrument panel, inboard of the instrumentpanel steering column opening. Unit contains the micro processor and software

Door Ajar Switch(s)

located on the hinge pillar of ea front door

Door Cylinder Lock Switch

located on the back of ea front door lock cylinder

Horn Relay

located in the PDC (Power Dist. Ctr. )i n the engine compartment near the battery

Headlamp Relay aka security relay

located in the PDC

VTSS Indicator

red LED located on the lower surface of the overhead console near windshield

the engine no-run feature of the VTSS relies upon communication between the CTM and the PCM over the Chrysler Collision Detection (CCD) data bus network.

I'll get some wiring diagrams in the next post, or I'll email them to you.
