Hey guys, I need to install a rotary knob switch for the turbo timer I got from SP diesel, also at the same time I'd like to install a switch for a set of fog lights I'll install one day.

I was thinking of using the black surrond that goes around the guages. If you look, there's a spot on both top corners over the guages.

Just curious to hear of other places that might work better before I drill into this.

Switch location

I should get a digital camera and it would help. Sort of. I had a S/S plate made some years ago and it fits nicely on the bracket I made, bolting it to the front of the two seat brackets with shallow uni-strut for the cross piece and a 1/8" x 2x2" angle for my piece to fit on . I can be more specific if you should like the idea. It is out of the way of the gear stick and 4x4 shifter the other thing i did was to mount a s/s piece on the shifter for the switches that I might use more often such as the exhaust brake.

I installed my snow, nitrous and etc toggle switchs down by the center panel thats under the cup holder tray . I think it would be out of the way but depends on if you keep you cup tray down or up. I used lighted switches so you can see them plus with all the other gauges by the steering wheel why would you want any more. there.

Not sure about the turbo timer, but for the fog lights the best place 'in my opinion' is the floor using an old GM dimmer switch (about $5 at any auto parts store). No need to look for the switch, just kick it and instant lights.

no quite finished yet, but here is were i plan to put my switches. cut the ashtray out, now i have to figure out what 8 accosories i'm going to put in here.
