An A518, like mine.
If you go to the dealer with the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and ask for a "Build Sheet", they'll run one off.
That'll show you all the codes and brief description for everything on the truck.

MY truck is similar to yours except the club cab. I cant never get more than 18mpg with it. I also got a 91 with a 5er in it. It always get 19. 5 or better. the 91 has 4. 10 also. I am sending my wife to diesel injection service in Pittsburg next week to get the 250 horse upgrade done. Its her truck anyway 92 4x4 auto with 3. 55s

YUP - *I'm* with YOU - but will include the 727 3-speed A/T!

BUT- #ad
I won't hold my breath waiting! #ad

Seems like our "first generation" trucks are orphans - and the the pre-late '91's are considered the "rolling dead" among developers/manufacturers of aftermarket components - and even the articles and advertisers in the Register mag are conspicuous by their absence - as well as the absence of stuff for our earlier trucks.

And since It's HIGHLY unlikely I'll be replacing my early '91, it makes continued subscription to the TDR increasingly pointless, since my truck is pretty much treated as obsolete in terms of development of the same spectrum of items common to the '94-'01's. #ad

Thank God at least BANKS and US Gear/Gear Vendors took an interest at the commercial level in our older trucks!

Shucks, just look down below at my sig and the stuff *I* have added to mine, and the money I've willingly spent rather than buy a later truck - and I've just spent ANOTHER $300 on an upgraded radiator as well!

Pity too, since there are still so many of these LONG lifespan trucks still on the road - with owners looking for places to spend the extra money they are saving by sticking with the "oldies-but-goodies"... #ad

But let's face it - if we don't see the aftermarket items we'd like available TODAY, it's HIGHLY unlikely we'll be seeing them developed and marketed TOMORROW! #ad

They DID make 727's with lockup convertors for gassers. So theoretically, you could get a low rpm lockup convertor, swap in some gasser parts and build a lockup 727 for your Cummins. Add a Gear Vendors OD, and you'd have a LOT tougher unit than the new Dodge units!

Hey guys ,
i am not ignoring you, i will be taking the photos this weekend and the post is long , so I have to wait for Shanti to work on it with me as i only type with 2 fingers, approx 2 words per hour i believe.
