The od switch is supposed to be wired just like a lockup switch... tap a certain wire coming out of the pcm and use the new switch to ground said wire when you want to. No, I don't know as of yet which wire that is (I'll know saturday after doing mine). Stock OD button should be left in the ON position (ie, so it WILL shift into OD). The new od switch isn't to actually shift into OD. It's to make the transmission prepare for the shift sooner so you don't have the big long pause at the top end of third gear, waiting on the shift into 4th.
