Lock-up torque convertor, 2-3&4th gear?

Has anyone come out yet with a program to lock-up 2nd gear yet?

My 04. 5 48RE locks up in 3rd and 4th at about 50mph. , 2nd just doesn't lock up.

Is there any hardware out there that will lock up 2nd?



Also, if I was to install an exh. brake, will 2nd lock up then, and will the trans run hot? I'm really getting tired of waiting for the factory approval.

If I run with selector in 2nd, I get lockup. Might have been after TSB 18-007-04 that also gave high idle.

My 03 has 2nd gear lockup.



Also I've had zero TSB's done to mine by the way.

2003 Ram 3500



My 03 will lock-up in second gear at 25mph and up, if you have the shift lever in second gear. It will stay locked up as long as speed is maintained above 25mph(around there).
