You Guys JUST HAVE TO SEE THIS!!!!!

History guru needed. Father of diesels ? ?

I bought the one that NAPA sells, a few years back the part number was posted by Illflem or somebody and a lot of us got them. The one for my '97 is very similar to the stock cap, good construction quality and has held up really well. It cost around $10, most NAPA stores have them or can get one.

Locking cap from NAPA, cable on spare tire with GOOD lock and locking hood!! All needed here! Spare tire business is good at flea markets!

I got mine at the dealership, as they were a few bucks cheaper than Geno's. I know, hard to imagine. Was $12. 95, and they had plenty in stock.

I bought the Mopar locking cap and the locking cylinder came out with the key the second time I opened it. I now have a FRAM brand locking cap that I bought at Kragans for $15 and it seems to be better constructed. I believe that FRAM recently bought-out STANT which used to be the major brand of vehicle caps. Look for a Kragans, Checkers, or Shucks whichever one is in your area since they are all the same company.

Dodge Dealer I think is the best place, that way you get the correct one for your truck and I found was also cheaper. :D
