If its just starting to slip, it would probably be very advisable to order a valve body and torque converter from whichever vender you feel like. If you plan on running tons of horsepower then you may want to get a full rebuild from company of choice. Your best bet is to call DTT, ATS, BD, and some of the others for prices and opinions on your truck and application. Im not positive, but im pretty sure that you can't "Fix" your stock torque. The reason you will probably want an aftermarket valve body as well as a torque converter is so you get higher line pressures to hold the torque converter clutch together. If you only get a TC, it will probably fail as well due to the lack of line pressure to hold it together. Hope this helps out, and good luck!!!
