Here are the specs on Loctite threadlocker adhesives:

222-General purpose, low strength for 1/4" and smaller fasteners. Hand tool removable. 20 min. set time. . 005 gap fill. Purple.

242-General purpose, medium strength for 1/4" and larger fasteners. 10 Min. set time.
Hand tool removable. . 005 gap fill. Blue

262-High strength permanent locking for fasteners up to 3/4" dia. subject to high vibration and shock. Resistent to solvents and oils. Great for grade 5 and 8 fasteners. Set time 20 min. . 005 gap fill. Red

271-Very high strength for fasteners up to 1" dia. For severe applications and tamper proofing. Set time 10 min. . 007 gap fill. Red

272-High strength for bolts, screws and studs in temperatures up to 392 degrees. Set time 30 min. . 002 gap fill. Red

277-Use for high strength applications with large bolts and studs. Set time 30 min. . 002 gap fill. Red

290-Medium strength for locking preassembled fasteners up to 1/2" dia. Set time 20 min. . 004 gap fill. Green

425-A low strength super glue for locking metal and plastic fasteners. Use as a retainer, bonder before or after assembly. Set time 2 min. . 005 gap fill. Blue

2760-Exceptional strength, even on oily umppimed fasteners. Use for heavy duty applications such as construction and railroad equipment where shock and vibration are prevalent. Set time 30 min. . 002 gap fill. Red

**NOTE** If you have never used loctite, go with the right one, overkill will lead you to difficult disassembly, breaking bolts and having to drill them out. 242 is good for most of our truck use. Electrical contact cleaner is a fine primer, no residue.

Or if you don't have a printer, Napa-Loctite has a similar list on the back of the cardboard that small tubes of Loctite comes on. I'm with Mike on using electronic cleaner instead of Loctite primer. Loctite wants way to much money for their primer.
