Login is terrible.

I know that there was a software upgrade but now it takes going through 5 steps to even log onto the site. And when I enter my info it tells me I have entered the incorrect name or password 2 times before it lets me on. Yes I have checked to see if I entered it correctly and it is right. Is there any way we can get back to the home page login screen again?

How does it take five steps? If you go to the discussion forums there is a login on the upper right, you type your username and password there and your logged in. If you allow your PC to save cookies you shouldn't ever have to log in - you'll automatically be recognized when you come to the site. The last time I logged in to the forums was about 5 months ago. If your having trouble staying logged in go here - https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108976 . There must be something your doing in typing the username or password wrong because the form is exactly the same each time, if it worked on the 3rd try it should have worked on the first try. Your the first person who has said anything about having that problem.

I do have it on my list to try and get it working again on the front page but I have no promises at this point for the near future. That software is going to be upgraded by the developer in the future to be integrated with vBulletin and at that point it will definately come back - I don't have a timeline on that yet though.
