I had Precision Bodyline do my Mega Cab Long Bed Conversion in March of 2010. It was about $6500 including the take off dually bed painted to match, spray in liner, B and W turn over ball set up. I added air bags for a few hundred more. They do incredible work. It was 3 full days of work, the welding is the best I have seen, I have had no problems at all. I brought back my short bed dually and just sold it. I put pics on this site months ago, I can do it again if anyone wants.

Well worth the effort and cost!

Above comments are correct. If Dodge sells 30K Meagas a year, how many would they sell in long bed? 10k? 20k? Even at that, it would require a new frame, drivashaft, brake lines, wiring harness', fuel lines, etc. ALOT of cost for the few they would make.

There was also a comment made a few years ago by Dodge that it would not fit in anyones garage so that was another reason they did not want to build it! ;)

I have to agree though. Nothing beats a mega long bed. They look proportioned and the dually looks right too! Man I wish I had one!
