this ever happen to any of you? go to start the truck(warm engine) and it cranks over about twice as many times as usual. after truck starts it will idle ruff. drives fine but egt's are higher then normal. truck will idle normally after a while. somtimes after a few stop lights and somtimes 70 miles later. i use additative every tank, usally sea foam or power service. seems very strange. when the idle smooths out it is usally while i'm stopped at a light. i can definatly feel it smooth out. i change the fuel filter every oil change(8-10k)... ... james

My guess would be it is allowing air in the fuel system. It will only get worse,, gotta get it diagnosed and fixed ASAP I would think.

I dont know with the pumps in the tank how this could happen but regardless the symptoms sure seem like it.

You've got so much non-stock equipment that you're probably going to have to self-diagnose this one. I'd suspect maybe injectors or maybe a rail pressure relief valve on the fritz.

if i had to guess the ramifier has s/m to do with it... pressure boxes from what i understand they are real hard on fuel systems. then again its just a guess. retourqe everything to spec the injector install could have s/m sucking air a tad again only a guess.

take off you boxes for a week and see if it dont stop, if it does the you need to have a cut off test done on the injectors along with a injector return line test, that will tell you if you have injector problems, if no problems exsist then you will need a computer reflash for those symtoms. are you seeing any white smoke with this? :D
