A recent post on trackbars caused be to wonder how long I've been running the Lindstad trackbar repair. A quick search found my post from 2001 when the kit was installed; https://www.turbodieselregister.com/threads/lukes-links.19951/#post-182367
I'm happy that the original trackbar with the Lindstad kit is still working great. The truck now is now approaching 300,000 and the Lindstad kit has been in service for about 200,000 miles and 18 years with no problems...yet. I do grease it along with all other fittings every oil change and check it and adjust when necessary. Usually every 50,000 or so miles.
I haven't seen Lindstad mentioned in a long time, as mentioned in my original post it does require a simple weld but that's the only bit that might be a problem for some.
In case anyone's interested (no affiliation, just a happy customer) http://www.lindstadalignment.com/track-bar.html
