Longest Commute

I work out of my house now, I guess. I get up in the morning and start the company 1996 power joke and go to customers cite to work on their machines. This week I had some 135 mile commutes 1 way. Ussually 40-70 miles one way. Good thing about my commutes is I'm GETTIN PAID to do it.



I have put less than 10,000 miles on my CTD in the last year. Put @40,000 on the p/joke in the last 2 years. Still like the Cummins much better!

I did 145 miles from house to work one way. Working a 12hr day did that for 4 months now with better arrangements I do that commute once a week with a daily run of 12 miles one way. At that rate I still put around 450 miles a week on the CTD. with the extra running around that gets done. By the way I work a 7on/7off schedule.

70-75 miles one way depending on which way I go been doing this for about 15 yrs. Use to work night shift( I believe the body is meant to sleep at night). I use to go thru Bastrop some mornings when I worked nights and I did not even remember going through there Having the wreck in 98 got me off night shift so the wife and I ride together now :-{} but when my days off are during the week she goes by herself. Most of the time its in my VW(50+mpg ) or her car or my truck.
