Update!!!!!!!!!

MY EXHAUST JUST CAME IN AND IT LOOKS AWESOME!!!!! I GOT THE RIGHT ONE TO... how much have you guys been charged to have it installed?

They're pretty easy to install yourself, XCX. . Just need some sockets and a hacksaw/sawzall to get the old exhaust off.

Taking the front passenger fender liner out probably helps too, it'd be easier to unbolt the old exhaust from the turbo.

Just be sure you have all the parts before you cut your stock exhaust into 4 pieces. :)

COOL DUALS:cool:

I got my MBRP Dual stainless exhaust on tonight.

One word..... WOW!!!!!!!!

The hardest part was getting the old off.

The install wasn't too bad.

The dually now has a deep throaty sound to it now.

A little drone in the 2000 rpm range, but not intolerable.

Throttle response is awesome and would bet between it and the airbox I gained a good 35-40hp.

$680 Well spent in my mind.

Can you measure the clearance between the bottom of your bed and the top of the pipes for the dual exhaust? I am trying to determine if the duals will fit with my B&W gooseneck hitch. MBRP sent me some pictures and it looks promising, but I can't tell for sure. .

Believe me I understand if you don't want to crawl under your truck to measure in this weather. :) Thanks.

I measured it as good as could.

The crossover pipe to the driver's side is the problem right?

From the bottom of the bed floor to the highest point I measured 5 inches.

Back Closer to the y out of the muffler, the drivers side crossover pipe to the bed crossmember is 4 1/4 inches.

I wouldn't think that would be the problem area.

Hopefully this helps.

It's 5 degrees out there right now.

I think I'll leave the truck in the garage and not go out and play/listen to the sweet sounds it makes downtown between the buildings.

Jeff

Thanks a million, I really appreciate that. That might be enough room. . I'll have to measure my hitch this weekend when I change my oil.

Thanks again.
