I sincerely hope that Gale Banks and his crew make one of those "Type R" Duramaxes into a drag racer and bring it to some DHRA and NHDRA Drag Races next year! He is going to get his a** kicked by the trucks of Keating,

Garmon, Morrison, Stuckey, Spruill, Perry to name a few! MADDOG and Fletcher will also put it on him IMO. It was great to watch Dustin Bentz stomp that Banks LSR Truck at that "ATS Truckfest Rally"in 2003 too! I don't think they have EVER run it at a dragstrip against anybody else since then either. Heck, it only ran a 12. 2!!



And this is the same Gale Banks that wanted to know "Why the diesel trucks were brake torquing and revving their engines" at the staging lanes at the "2003 ATS Truckfest" @ Bandimere Speedway, Denver, Colorado??? Has he ever actually raced that truck against any competition since it has been built?? I would like to see it go up against that V-10 Audi Diesel Shell Sponsored" race car that has been winning almost every race they enter including the 12 hours of Lemans! Yep,... ... . old Gale Banks is "a legend in his own mind!" :-laf BTW,... ... ... ..... how many of the current DHRA Pro-Street or "Quick Diesel" trucks actually run any of his diesel performance engines or performance upgrades??? Answer: NONE OF THEM!!!!!

Hey John, you ask if he even races any other comp? Well click on the video a few posts up... You'll see him racing Mazda's... . :-laf (LMAO) It is a type "R" after all, so maybe he's going to keep it in the Honda, Mazda's and 4 banger racer bracket's... LMAO.....

I think the TS truck had a Hi-Ram intake for a while :-laf That is how they first broke into the 10's

I can tell you this,... ..... Peter Tredyte, Gale's "right hand man" at Banks was "hunting me down" by phone through Scheid Diesel about a year ago after I made some remarks on another thread about them. We had a very LONG talk and IMO not too much was really resolved that day either!! :-laf

Just because you suckered thousands of diesel owners out of hard earned money doesn't mean that you can buy the biggest fag wing on the street and automatically be cool. That truck is gay. That old man is starting to **** me off with his high budget ad campaigns on Extreme 4x4 etc. Project urban gorilla or project "Gale Banks is the best diesel innovator of all time" he did have the "worlds first ever twin turbo duramax" only two years after my other favorite diesel inovator came up with theirs up in the rockies. Why does everything have to be about politics? There are tons of low profile guys that have been busting their *** for years that make gale banks look like the dumbass that is standing there holding his pecker. Once again politics prevail. Anxious to see what this one looks like after the auto edit has done it's job.

I couldn't agree more... The number's on that Urban Gorilla were sorry IMO... All that custom tuning and custom heads, twins, injectors, intake, on and on... Give me a TST with a SMARTY stack, injectors and a Silver bullet and I'll kick that trucks butt all day long... That's why we have web sites like this to open peoples eyes to bigger and better things...

Great post! You mention some of the "low profile diesel guys" that have come out with great diesel performance products too. I consider Mark Chapple @ TST to be "one of those guys. " He and his wife Gina are two of the nicest people in the industry and HIS PRODUCTS WORK AND WORK VERY WELL! Yet, about six months ago, Gale Banks had an ad showing Mark with nine (9) years of diesel experience and himself with like forty!! Old Gale must have forgotten about the thirty three (33) years Mark Chapple spent at Cummins in the Mid Range Engine Plant at a Mechanical Engineer!! Just another "exaggeration" by Old Gale! Nothing new there... ... ... ... ... .....
