I have a 1992 and I am getting an error code of 12. Was wondering if you could look in your PCM diagnostic manual and tell me what a 12 code refers to.

12 code is the battery has been disconnected within the last XX number of start cycles. 55 is all clear.

WOW, PToombs, Yer gonna be even more popular than ever. You gotta be the bes' I knowOo. . Where can I get a unit to plug into my diagnostic port? I've got two PCM's to check out. Hopefully, both are good? I have never used a diagnostic reader on my truck. Is your manual a "one of a kind" or are there more available? GregH

It's a factory manual, Mopar Tim has 1, gotta be more. I just stumbled on to it, buddy e-mailed me the link to e-bay. Just keep your eyes open I guess!

When I get it I'll look thru and see what's in it, let you know.

i just dug mine out its actually a 91. 5 powertrain diagnostic procedures manual







on the back of mine it says it is for a training program and the developmental department





but it is a factory chrysler book

I figgured Pete bought an Arizona rig. Say, perhaps, a 1991 reg cab dually. Auto. LE. 18,000 on the clock.

I got it monday. Like Scott says, kinda dry reading! It does have specs for all the sensors, and troubleshooting charts for them. There is a lot of "replace PCM" if the readings aren't right.

I don't think it was worth as much as I paid, now that I see what it is. But it'll be handy, I'm sure!
