I am looking at a 91 CTD 4x4 standard cab and need a little info.

The truck was built in late 91 and has an intercooled engine, it looks like a stock setup with the intercooled valve cover and all. The engine compartment looks identical to my old 93.

Is there anything to be worried about with this truck?

I will most likely turn it into a pulling truck but it is going to be my wifes driver for a while. It has 140k on it and an auto.

Thanks for any info!!!:D

Looks like I will be back cruising the 12 valve forum again!!!

Now I'm not posative but I believe for 93 they went back to the 18cm exhaust housing instead of the 21 that will be on the 91 if it hasn't been changed already. (I know of at least one person who made the dealer do it when the truck was new because it was so much slower than his non intercooled truck it was sick)The torque converters on the first gen trucks are also very loose and don't have a lockup I'll be puting a new one in mine very soon (tomorow?)and will post more about it then.
