I am going to need to purchase some new tires in a few months and have been trying to decide on what to get. Currently I am running Pro Comps, but with only having a 2600 lb load rating on the 33's I will not buy them again. I have been considering the Toyo M/T's but I don't really need a mud tire and they are pretty expensive. Has anyone run the Toyo Open Country's from Les Schwaab. I would appreciate your opinions on tires.

Thanks,

Joe

I've got a set of Toyo M/T's on 18" Weld (Kore) wheels, and a set of Toyo Open Country 17" on stock rims. Love them both, but the M/T's are a bit much for daily driving in the city. I put those on the Baja or desert trips. The Open Country tires I purchased from Les Schwab in Livermore, CA.

I have the Toyo Open Country tires 33X12. 5X20 I love them they have the same weight capacity as the stock and they handle good on the road and have good traction off road. .

I don't run the toyo's but I have to say that all my family runs are BFG ATs and we have loved them. They have never let us down in the winter or in the spring muck. I have a friend with the toyo open country and they grip off road like crazy, but the wear hasn't been pleasing. Not trying to bash on toyo's, just my two cents.

just ordered some 305/65r17 in the pro comp xtreme all terrain load E i'm just waiting for them to come in. i'll let you know how they do soon.
