Under the hood of a T/K Trailer Mount Unit

Need a Agricultural sprayer for my Tractor, everything that I've seen in the 3 point class is either WAY MORE than I need or SO CHEAPLY made it would likely break getting getting it out to the truck.

Been kicking around the idea of making my own using a PTO mounted Roller pump to drive the system. Maybe Ive missed something of quality.

BIG

Big, I was at Burroughs Sprayer Co in Loris, SC( https://burroughssprayer.com/product-category/burroughs/) this morning to pick up some check valves for my BP25 lawn sprayer. I have had a model 110 sprayer for more than 40 years. Your Nasty Ferguson would handle it. Hardee Manufacturing (https://www.hardeebyevh.com , also in Loris, makes good stuff. Their ditch bank cutters are as good as can be had. Both have dealers far and wide. Hardee is bigger, more diverse, and probably pricier. Burroughs is family. Loris is 25 miles from Myrtle Beach if you want to come pick one up and put your toes in the 'Lantic A local dealer would give you a near wholesale price. I agree with you--some are made of tin foil and some charge like they were made of gold! Mark

Thanks for the replies. Was talking to the Grounds Keeper at the Golf course yesterday he confirmed that with the amount of lawn I'm wanting to spray that a diaphragm pump isn't going to make the grade.

https://www.agrisupply.com/ag-lawn-sprayers/c/4200110/pgnum/2/ I'm sorry, Big! I had no idea that sprayers had gone up so! "Sticker" shock for me, too! Two little nozzle check valves, both of them won't weigh an ounce, was about $8.50! Maybe ag dealers, auction yards, or where farmers come and go, might could help you find a good frame, and then you could build your own. If you buy a used one, wash it out with ammonia solution 3 times even if it looks clean! How many acres do you need to spray? TeeJet makes a bazillion different type nozzles and tips to help you spray right with minimal drift so you don't mess up any of Miss Penny's plants and get in the doghouse. You probably knew all this anyway! Mark

Im still kicking around the idea of making my own. Im not really worried about the booms being on springs I don't have many obstacles to avoid. Ive got 7 acres of my own then my other family members have about the same X 5 members.
