Does any one know where to get a 24v battery charger? I need one for a rv aplication. It must be a multi stage charger and all automatic. It must run on 110v input. I have found some forklift chargers but all seem to be one stage only. I am looking a around 40 amp down to a trickle charge. I will be on most of the time and I don't whant to boil off the acid. It will be used for lead acid batterys only.

There are several marine battery charger manufacturers. They are a little pricey but are fully automatic, will handle multiple battery banks and are ruggedized for the marine environment. depending on where you are going to mount the battery and where you will be going, these systems will last and not be so subject to salt corrosion. The link above is for the Charles System. Many others out there. Just do a web search for Marine Battery Chargers 24V.

Call 11-800-824-0524 and tell them what you are looking for. My son and I each have one of their charger, they are great. bg

I don't know if it is what you are looking for, but I got one at Wal-Mart. I've used it to charge a single 24 volt battery probably 100 times. If you want more information about it I can send you everything I know.
