... for the fitting that presses into the engine block at the bottom of the turbo oil return line.

Thanks in advance!

Have you ever tried Here you can sign up and put in your engine serial number and get a complete parts list. I can't remember my password so I can't get in right now but I check it later or you can sign up yourself

So the fitting presses in? No threads whatsoever?? If I am going to run the return line from my oil bypass system back into the block (I'm assuming this drips right down into the pan) at this location, I imagine I should probably purchase one of the press in fittings and then modify it to accept the return hose from my bypass filter, correct?

My bypass filter came with a large hose barb for use with 3/4" hose and I was under the impression that I could just thread it into the hole on the side of the block, once I removed what felt like (I couldn't really see down there) a freeze plug.

Any input on this? THANKS!!

Also, THANKS for listing that part number! I am going to check on it tomorrow.

Does anyone know if I'd have a chance of being able to drill through and tap the dummy plug that is already in the block????

It is a "frost or freeze" plug. You would be trying to tap the block and guess where the filings would go? It is a good place to run an oil drain as the oil will go right into the pan. Shadrach
