So the fitting presses in? No threads whatsoever?? If I am going to run the return line from my oil bypass system back into the block (I'm assuming this drips right down into the pan) at this location, I imagine I should probably purchase one of the press in fittings and then modify it to accept the return hose from my bypass filter, correct?
My bypass filter came with a large hose barb for use with 3/4" hose and I was under the impression that I could just thread it into the hole on the side of the block, once I removed what felt like (I couldn't really see down there) a freeze plug.
Any input on this? THANKS!!
