Looking for a electrical project kit

I've been looking at Radioshacks electrical project kits that teach you about different ways to use electricity, but all of the good kits are no long available, does anybody know where some other units area available through? I'm going to be in Texas for 6 weeks for training, and would like to use some of that time to experiement with some electrical components and to learn a little more in the process.



Any help would be great.
