Looking for a milage increase. 2006 5.9

I've not had a chance to figure my MPG on a calculator but have seen huge increases by just slowing down. I normally drive ~80 on the interstate. I stepped that down to 70 for the past 2 days. I know the overhead display isn't the most accurate thing in the world... but when it changes from 19. 7mpg @ 80 mph to 24. 5 mpg @ 70 mph that's says something for my stock '05 2500.

Ron; The free spin front hubs were discussed in a TDR issue, maybe 50 or 51. I'll try to go back and find it for you. I was considering that mod for my truck in the future. It's the old style set up where the hubs stick from the center of the front wheels. I guess you can take your oem hub caps to a machine shop and have the centers turned out so the hubs can stick through.

Still don't have the GV in yet???

I'll lookup those issues. I keep them all! Still have not installed the GV. Now that my car racing season is over it's the #1 project. Going to measure up the driveshaft next week, then start running the electrics.
