Dodge offer a "X-Plan" like Ford does? I'm selling my '00 QC 2500 CTD because I need the 4 doors. Ford is really enticing with the X-plan pricing (and the "true" 4-door) but I really love the CTD's! Plus this was the first time I ever owned a Dodge and it's been awesome (previously owned Fords and GMC)Any thoughts? Any dealers in the NJ area that offer invoice or below?

Thanks!

Yes, Dodge does have an X plan. You put your X on the bottom line and its yours. :D

Some of the forums have mentioned a 'mega' cab coming out in 2006, which probably is in July 2005??? I haven't read the forums because I'm plumb happy with the size of my four door QC. But if you do a search in the 3G forums something will show up about the heinious rumor.

Yes, DC does have employee and supplier plans... your employer would have the info necessary, or you can call Dodge customer service.

I can get the Ford "X" plan through my employer, but opted for the CTD instead. I still have crew cab envy at every Ford I see. Funny thing is, had I bought the Ford, I'd have Cummins envy!

Anyway, when I was looking I was able to get the "green" sheet price. From my understanding, that's the employee price. Someone else may be able to explain it better than I, but it was a great price on the truck.

Dodge, Ford, GM, etc. all have "X-Plan" supplier bonus plans. Since I work at a plant that makes parts for DC, I got a really good deal, 1% below invoice plus rebates & trade in. All said and done was about $3000 below invoice or about $7000 below sticker.

Got my '05 for $6040 below sticker and about $2513 below invoice with no hassles and no trade and no X-plan. I'm happy! Oo.

I got mine for 1% under invoice through the affiliate rewards program. On top of that I got $1000 rebate, $1000 financing rebate, $500 farm bureau rebate, and $500 some other rebate they just found for me (great sales dept service!!), for a total of about $3400 under invoice. I could have ordered out of state for 2. 5% under invoice, but the extra 1. 5% was offset by the $500 unexpected rebate and convenience, so overall I'm happy!

Demodogg, Ever hear of Ridgewood NJ? All the way up north. (Bergen County) The dealer is Fairway Dodge. I got my 03 through them with the "plan" you mention.

I'm eligible for the Ford X-plan. I don't own a Ford product - haven't since 1990. Enough said.

Same here, My brother works for Land Rover and I get "A" plan but I will not drive a ford Oo.

Invoice price is not the wholesale price, which is what most all plans go off of. Invoice is the wholesale price minus the dealer holdback located at the bottom of the office invoice, not the sticker on the truck. A 35k dollar truck will generally have a 1000-1100 dealer holdback that chryler gives them after they sell it. So if you get the x plan plus whatever incentives and rebates you get the dealer is still making and easy grand and whatever he makes on financing. If the dealer is your best friend and want's to lose money he will give the truck to you for his price which is the wholesale price on the invoice minus the dealer holdback.

But that wasn't an '05... I got 3K rebates on an '05... after I considered just caving and getting an 04. 5 when the factory was taking so long. I'm glad I waited!! :D

(not tryin to say neener neener, but just so people are aware '05 deals aren't that bad these days!)
