Can anybody recommend a quality FM transmitter with decent range and channel selection that can plug into a MP3 player?

I bought a cheapie a few years ago and since moving to Utah it has problems overcoming some of the weak signals in the 88Mhz range that it has selections for. It works well in remote areas but around here there some 88Mhz stations that cause interference so I need something with more channel selections.

how many watts are you looking to output? i think over 5 and you technically need a licence, i made my own 20 watt fm transmitter from about 25 bucks worth of parts. im sure you can find a good schematic on the web.

Can't recall the brand at the moment, but I got one from Walmart earlier this year. It has a digital display and you can choose any station you want, that isn't being used. Not stuck with 4 or so stations that some are good for. IIRC, it was less than $30. Works well, and not full of static like some are. Use it in the RAM, with the iPod.
