Honda Civic advice needed

After getting the truck a few presents this year I have some leftover money and I need to replace my cheapo set of handheld radios. I'd like to stay under $70 but might go higher for a quality set. My cheapo's are Motorola TalkAbout Fr50's (only one works right anymore) so if I could get a set that would work with them it would be great.

Anyone have an suggestions at what models to look at?

TIA

Nathan

Anything that works uses the FRS radio frequencies will work with your FR50's. The only thing is that you will not be able to use the "interference codes" since the FR50s isn't configured to use them.

I just picked up a pair of Motorola T5500's from Cabela's that work on the FRS and the GMRS freq's for $40.

We just bought the Motorola T6510's from Costco about a month ago for around $50. You get two radios, a two radio charger base, and rechargeable battery packs. They are FRS and GMRS compatible.

We give one to our boys when they leave the house so we can stay in contact with them. The rechargeable feature is really nice, when they get home we drop them into the base and they are ready to go the next time.
