Not sure if anybody has one, or knows where there is one. I am looking for a Tamiya Mountaineer, or Bruiser. Doesent have to run, but does need to be complete

I had to go look. I have a Tamiya "Wild One" Buggy looking rig I bought about 100 years ago. The speed controller was always crappy and when it finally quite I boxed and shelved it, haven't touched it since.

Hey TNL,

Sorry I can't help you but, that thing is awesome. I can't belive I never heard of these before. I grew up in the 70-80's,and don't remember these at all,and I love toyota trucks. I used to have an 82 hi-lux pickup complete with the leaf springs all around and the full floating axles front and rear. The thing was indestructible. I bet you could paint one of these things up,and with the proper photography convince someone it was the real truck. That is how detailed they got with these things it seems. I can't believe you can even shift the trannys on them as well. That is awesome. I wish I had the cash I would love to take on a cool project like this. Good luck on your search. I wonder if they ever made a car like that?It would be cool to have a scale model of my RX-7,but the truck is cooler being 4wd and all with real metal axles and such. You gotta hand it to the japanese they did make some cool toys, and vehicles back in the day.

I kick myself... . I had one way back in the day and sold it. My plan is to build a show piece, trailer queen LOL. All chromed up and powder coated with a updated ram body

It's funny you ask. . .

I'm going to be putting my Brusier on Ebay if I don't sell it before.

Condition is like new, inside and out. I have a 4 channel cotroller, 2 or 3 battery packs and a/c, d/c battery chargers. It's built in the likeness of my old 83 Toyota. If you want to see some Dig photos let me know. I also believe I still have the assembly papers and reciept from purchase around 1987.

I uploaded some photos to one of my MSN pages here is a Link

Brusier Photos

I've got a 4 chanell Futaba Controller, 2 batteries, a/c, and d/c chargers, and instruction manual for the Brusier, and instruction manual for the Digital/Proportional Radio Control.

I've got a BlackFoot that's in pretty rough shape, hasn't been ran in about 10 years, will need some tinkering to be operational again. don't remember what all I had on hand as far as acessories.

Sound like something you might be interested in?

Don

Thanks Don I appreciate the thought. The Blackfoot however is no where near the realistic truck that the bruiser is. I really need a bruiser for this project
