Looking for advice

Is it possible that the knock was coming from the injector? I thought I read somwhere that they can cause noise.

I originally thought that it was an injector and so we pulled them and had them checked not the problem.

i have 2-04s and 2-05s all 4 trucks have lost #4 pistons either burndt down the side of piston or a hole burndt in top of piston,#4 rod bearing has always been in the red,why always #4 i dont know, ibelieve injectors hang open and detinate the cylinder but why #4 , does this cylinder run to hot? all 4 motors still have factory machine cross hatching done from honing not from bad air filter. hire a lawyer make dodge step up.
