Can anyone help me in finding a good looking aluminum front bumper for my 05 quad cab. I know Denver off road is one source but have not been able to find any pics to see what they actually look like. Any help will be greatly appreciate. Thanks in advance. Why you may ask am I doing this - I had the green light Kia had the red light I was in the right and Yes the Dodge won but not without some blemishes. :(

I remember a few weeks back reading a post about denver off road bumper. I think it was them, correct me if I am wrong. Their powdercoating was peeling off the bumper a few months later and the company only wanted to pay half to have the problem fixed. If that was the case, i would not recommend them on the basis of poor customer service.

That was folks baggin' on Road Armor on NNelsons post.

things are looking real good. shipped bumper back to ra on monday should get there this monday any they are going to sand blast and re powder coat silver for me and ship it back. i paid shipping one way, ra is going to powder coat it and ship back for free. i think that is very fair. i will keep posting on progress. ra said about 24 days total with shipping and powder coating.

There's another brand too but they're fairly expensive. Off Road Alloys

Fairly expensive????!?!?!?!? :--)

I spec'ed out both a front and rear bumper, and I got up to $9485. 00 -- THATS INSANE!!! --- I hope these bumpers are made of gold alloy :D :D

$9000 for 2 bumpers. Wow Geez. Well it takes a lot of work to make a high quality bumper but thats a lot of money. You can get a very nice complete aluminum flatbed for that price which will include a rear bumper haha.

Ditto on the UTE bumper for my 05. One of the best and well built products I have buoght. Fits perfectly. I made a receiver hitch to fit where the winch would mount. I get at least one inquiry a week on where I got that amazing bumper.

I put some pics of the DOR for 3rd gen. that I took when I stopped at the factory in my Reader's Rigs. (lets see if this works)

(If not, look in my Reader's Rigs under DOR)

Layne makes a really nice bumper and is a great guy. I really liked the UTE (which Layne handles, as well) but I didn't want to wait the length of time it would take. I wanted deer protection as soon as possible so I bought the Buckstop which I really like.

I would not buy an AliArc aluminum bumper. They are not nearly as strong as the UTE or DOR.

I'm sure it would fit an 05 unless the front crossmember design was slightly changed. Dodge did that a few times on second gens so that would not suprise me one bit. lol

I picked up a flyer from a place in Texas during NFR. They had tricked out custom trucks with aftermarket bumpers and hauler beds. It looked like really nice stuff. Their website is pandpsales.com I don't think they have a picture of a Dodge on their website. I would try contacting them for more info.
