I've been looking for some Bilstein BE5-2549 shocks for the front end of my 1998 Dodge 2500 Cummins, but can't find them anywhere. The places I called said they wouldn't be available until sometime in October. I need them now...

Does anybody have any ideas who might have them in stock ?

I keep hearing the story that Bilstein is relocating their Corporate headquarters on the west coast. But I know somebody somewhere has some in stock ... ... ... But who ?

Still no luck

Thanks guys,

I tried both of those sites. The first one must be a typo, because it's a martial arts website and the second one said they can't get them until the 3rd week in October... that's too late.

We're leaving on our honeymoon in the rig the 1st week in October... .

Any more ideas ? I appreciate them all... for I am on a MISSON !!!

GOD BLESS AMERICA !!!

Roger

Try this....

Roger... .

I called Bilstein 800. 537. 1085 and talked with the sales dept. You cannot buy direct from them. He told me they are on backorder and expected mid October.

He did come up with Don's Sport Vehicles in Detroit. 313. 533. 0711

They ordered 8 of the BE5. 2549 in June. Maybe they still have some??

Good luck... .

Oh So Close....

Darn !!!

They just sold their last pair 2 days ago... . and I've been looking for 2 weeks...

Close, but not close enough... .

Any other ideas ??? :(

I've had good luck with SHOX. Promp delivery and they are very competitive. If someone else has a better price, they'll change that to HAD. A comment is all it takes.

I've also done Shock Warehouse. Cannot remember if they handle Bilsteins though.

Good luck

-John

Guys:

I'm quite sure that AutoZone is a Billstein shock distributer. Call them and see if they have that particular model you're looking for.
